# 1
Last weekend, R and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary. I love thinking about our wedding. It was seriously the best weekend ever.
I am still kind of obsessed with my dress.
Christmas ornaments as escort cards.
I worked my grandmothers art (and her dessert recipes) into the sweets table.
Lounge in use ;)
And we danced the night away....

Sneak Peek: Baby Shower Photoshoot
Take a look at a few shots from last weekends baby shower with Rook & Rose. Don't you love how Erica styled the Lottie Peacock Chair and the Owen Magazine Rack? And how amazing are these pictures by Studio 1079?
Getting ready for V-Day
We barely put away the holiday lights but love is in the air in my little world! Here are some goods you could use for a Valentine's photo shoot, party or private dinner for two.
- Lottie Peacock Chairs. Perfect for an engagement photo shoot. Drape florals around the top, add lambskin throws and pillows to further soften the look.
- Astor Love Marquee Sign. Say it with lights. Having a soiree? Nothing says love like, love.
- Yates Chairs. The perfect blank slate for pillows and petals.
- Neva Pink Coasters. Add a pop of color to your tabletop with these agate coasters.
- Charles Chairs. Red is the color of the moment. Swap your dining chairs with these to spice up your dinner at home.
- Leroy Bar Cart. Dessert bar? Surprise gift? Leroy can help.
- Vintage Champagne Coupes. 2 or 200 we have vintage champagne coupes to toast with.

'Tis the season
It's almost dinner party season ;) There is a crispness in the air and I've seen a few warm hued leaves brushing past me on my morning commute. I will hold on to you, Summer, as long as I can but I do love the notion of our long table filled with friends, warm cosy food, red wine and lots of laughter.
Coming soon - marquee signs!
I picked up a few of these marquee signs. They will be in in a few weeks. :)

Dinner party
It's probably no surprise that I like a good dinner party. It's also likely no surprise that when you live in a place like Victoria, BC, your world becomes reeeeally small ;) I realized there were multiple connections between a group of old and new friends and decided to get everyone together for dinner at my house. Here are a few pics. I so wish I had taken more!
Cool setting
Tell me this isn't one of the coolest wedding settings you've ever seen. You can't 'cause it is ;) The New Children's Museum in San Diego.
RockPaperSquare + 100Layer Cake!
A couple months back, Marika, from Rock Paper Square, reached out to about a photo shoot she was planning, to show off her event planning and design skills. I was happy to provide furniture and accessories.
The day was a blast (pics here). We sipped cider, chatted about women in business, worked hard to get the best shots and I was lucky to connect with these lovely and creative ladies here in Victoria (Lillie Louise, Rook & Rose, Ma-Luxe, Ruth & Dean, Covet + Keep...I'm talking about you ;)
The shoot is now live on 100 Layer Cake! Here are some extra shots from that fabulous day.
A special thank you to Lillie Louise Photography for the stellar job she did with these pictures.

This backdrop
Let's macramΓ©.
A fine combo.
This styled shoot from SMP is a great example how to mix the vintage aesthetic with a more modern / industrial one. The colors are soft but with a bit of pop. The chairs are metal and hard but the metallic textured fabric offers a nice compliment. Mixing vintage dishes with modern linens and mason jars with gold potted succulents also shows how these two styles can live together happily.
