It was a creative, inspiring week. A big thanks to everyone involved and a special thanks to sweet Josh, the bell hop, at the Parkside hotel for helping me carry a couch through a garage when we went through the wrong door.

Getting ready for V-Day

We barely put away the holiday lights but love is in the air in my little world! Here are some goods you could use for a Valentine's photo shoot, party or private dinner for two.

  1. Lottie Peacock Chairs. Perfect for an engagement photo shoot. Drape florals around the top, add lambskin throws and pillows to further soften the look.
  2. Astor Love Marquee Sign. Say it with lights. Having a soiree? Nothing says love like, love.
  3. Yates Chairs. The perfect blank slate for pillows and petals.
  4. Neva Pink Coasters. Add a pop of color to your tabletop with these agate coasters.
  5. Charles Chairs. Red is the color of the moment. Swap your dining chairs with these to spice up your dinner at home.
  6. Leroy Bar Cart. Dessert bar? Surprise gift? Leroy can help.
  7. Vintage Champagne Coupes. 2 or 200 we have vintage champagne coupes to toast with.

Email hello@bashspecialty.com to rent this and any other of our goods for your upcoming Valentines Day events.

RockPaperSquare + 100Layer Cake!

A couple months back, Marika, from Rock Paper Square, reached out to about a photo shoot she was planning, to show off her event planning and design skills. I was happy to provide furniture and accessories.

The day was a blast (pics here). We sipped cider, chatted about women in business, worked hard to get the best shots and I was lucky to connect with these lovely and creative ladies here in Victoria (Lillie Louise, Rook & Rose, Ma-Luxe, Ruth & Dean, Covet + Keep...I'm talking about you ;)

The shoot is now live on 100 Layer Cake! Here are some extra shots from that fabulous day.

The candids of Blayke and Allie are my favorite. They are an incredible (real life) couple.
